Why should I register my dash?
Registering your Dash Personal Internet Viewer allows you to customize Apps, channels, audio and video services which give you more control of how you use your device.  If you don't register your device you will not be able to configure certain Apps or create custom channels.  Additionally, as a developer, registering your device will allow you to run Apps that you have built for your Dash Personal Internet Viewer.

How do I activate my dash?
To activate your, please create an account and register your dash.

Where can I find the register code for dash?

1. From the HOME screen, press the MENU/SNOOZE button on top of the device.  The command bar will appear at the bottom of the screen.
2. Touch MENU.
3. Select System and then select Device Info.
4. The registration code will be close to the bottom of the screen.  It is a four digit alpha-numeric character set.

 

Where can I find the device name for dash?

1. From the HOME screen, press the MENU/SNOOZE button once.  The command bar will appear at the bottom of the screen.
2. Touch MENU.
3. Select System and then select Device Info.
4. Once registered the device name is at the top of the screen.

 

How do I unregister a dash?
If you want to give a dash that you've already registered to someone else, all you need to do is delete that dash from your account — deleting a dash unregisters it. To delete a dash:

1. Log in and go to My dashboard.
2. Make sure the name of the dash appears in the dropdown menu next to "Select a dash."
3. Click on "delete" next to the dropdown menu and then confirm you want to delete the dash.

Once you've deleted the dash, the new owner of the dash can register it under his or her account.
